INFORMATION, POLICIES & FAQ

Our Puggle puppies are F-1 hybrids, which means each Mother is a purebred Beagle, each Father is a purebred Pug, and each puppy is a first generation crossbreed. All Puggle puppies are sold as pets with Spay/Neuter agreement. Mothers are AKC/UKC registered purebred Beagles. Fathers are AKC registered purebred pugs. We are keeping our breeding program very small. We are not planning on trying 2nd or 3rd generation Puggles.

All puppies will be sent to their new home with the following: • Health record including all shots and worming information • Sample of the food puppy is used to eating. (we feed NutriSource) • Crate and Health certificate from Vet if needed • Written Health Warranty & Bill of Sale • Puppy starter kit including slip leash, bowl, blanket, and toy, etc • (bottle of water and bowl not included if shipped)

WHAT WILL I RECEIVE WITH MY PUPPY?

IS SHIPPING AN OPTION? As of June 18, 2018, the airlines have all put restrictions on "brachycephalic" (snub, or short- nosed) breeds & breeds mixed from brachycephalic breeds. The Puggle, having a Pug father, falls into this category, The last airline that would ship brachycephalic breeds (United) will no longer ship them out of a supposed concern for higher adverse health risks. This has effectively shut down our ability to transport our Puggles to our non-local Puggle buyers. All puppies ARE still allowed travel, and transport, in- cabin. The most likely scenario now is your flying to PDX, and/or driving to Vancouver, WA to get your puppy. If booked at time of deposit, the cost can be not appreciably more than my flying your puppy to you would have been, and all airlines allow them in cabin at 8 weeks. There is the possibility that you will need a Veterinarian health certificate, soft-sided pet carrier, and occasionally a second round of vaccinations. Occasionally we may need to have the health certificate ready for you, but we do not charge any more for shipping preparation than it costs us. In cabin transportation prices are entirely dependent on the airline prices at the time of shipping. Puppies not picked up or scheduled for pickup within 7 days of turning 8 weeks of age will be subject to a $30.00 per day kenneling fee. CAN I PICK UP MY PUPPY? Yes we allow the puppies that will be picked up here to leave after they are 7 1/2 weeks old. DO YOU ALLOW THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO VISIT AND/OR HANDLE YOUR PUPPIES? No. We are very serious about protecting our puppies, only those who have a deposit and a vested interest in our pups are allowed to come and visit. While we do understand the interest in this breed and why many great families want to just come and visit and hold one, a lot of times people will go from place to place viewing and playing with puppies. What they do not realize is that they will be exposing our pups to whatever germs were at the last several places they visited. DO YOU HAVE A HEALTH WARRANTY? Yes. All puppies come with a 72 hr health warranty that gives you time to take the puppy to your vet and have a full check up to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. All puppies also come with a 1 year warranty against verified congenital defects.
